<p>My son wants this for something. I have no idea as to where to find it. I did see one multi color thread pack. I looked in Kmart today. I was surprised to find that they still have a sewing section. Kmart had white polyester thread, but he wants 100% cotton thread.</p>

I buy Mettler cotton thread at my local quilting store. (if he wants a high-quality thread)
You can probably find cotton thread at craft stores like Jo-Ann’s.
Any fabric store should have it.</p>
<p>IloveLA, he does not sew, so sadly no quilt from him. He won’t tell me what it is for, but I think that I know why he wants it. He says that I’m wrong, so I just let it go. We don’t have a Jo-Ann’s near us. I didn’t see spools of white cotton thread on their website, but I think that is where I saw the multi-colored thread pack (Singer). I looked online at Michael’s site and I did not find it there. Thanks, IloveLA.</p>

<p>Thank you IloveLA for the name, Mettler. I found it online. Now I need to see just how badly he wants this thread. 4 spools of the thread (not Mettler) cost as much as the shipping will cost. Sigh…</p>

<p>I think Walmart may have some. They have a bunch of the poly covered cotton but I think they also have some limited colors (including white) of 100% cotton. I think it is in smaller reels than the poly cotton.</p>
<p>Otherwise any quilt store will stock it.</p>
