What are the differences between these majors, since they are both science related? What is the difference between those who fit CALS and those who fit engineering? (in terms of interest, what they’re good at, what they want to be)

Just something I’ve been wondering about, because I’m a science/math person and I don’t know which school would be more appropriate.

CALS isn’t a major. It’s a large and diverse school. Within it are a very wide array of majors of all differing types - applied economics and management, communications, animal science, sociology, environmental engineering, biometry, biology, natural resource management, and entomology, to name a few.
