Cambria in September

Ok need a place for vacation/anniversary this month. Sad to say I can only get away for a week. Last year enjoyed Pebble Beach, so don’t want Monterrey again. Passing on San Diego/La Jolla-often run down there for zoo and lunch, no Santa Barbara either because we have been there recently. Ocean air relaxes me so we considered Cambria. Went to SLO for graduation, but never stayed in Cambria. Went on trip advisor and AAA, everything kinda blurrs together. Would also like h to fit in one day of golf. Any especially pleasant places to consider staying?
Thanks,

I love Cambria. We have stayed at several places. Cambridge Pine Lodge is just so so but close to town. I prefer to be on moonstone beach drive closer to the ocean and about five minutes drive to the little town. We have stayed at a b and b called the beach house which was very nice. Right there on moonstone beach for seafood you want The Treasure Chest. for breakfast nothing beats the fried oyster omelette with jalape

Have been to Cambria many times. September should be absolutely beautiful. The SUN might finally be out. My extended family loves Robins but like ebeee I have not been thrilled lately. Tried Black Cat Bistro last visit and we liked it.
We have used Cambria Vacation Rentals to rent a house. There is a really nice preserve for walking on the bluffs. I will try to find out the name of it.
Cash is king in Cambria. Quite a number of places do not take credit cards.

[Fiscalini Ranch Preserve @ Visit Cambria California](<a href=“About this page: Cambria in California - visitcambriacalifornia.com”>About this page: Cambria in California - visitcambriacalifornia.com)
above is a link that talks about the preserve with a map of the trails. It is a must see. Amazing views.

Thank you! You confirmed Moonstone beach was a good idea. Thanks for the names of places to eat :). Will stay at a hotel, because we won’t be there a full week. Fiscalini looks like the perfect place to explore.
CC always answers :)

Think Treasure Chest is actually Sea Chest. I don’t like seafood so have only been there once. My In laws eat there everytime they are up in Cambria. Sea Chest does not take credit cards.

Oops sorry yes sea chest is the right name.

Thanks. Loved Sea Chest. Passed on Robins, was all set for Black Cat then fell for Madelines eggplant dish. Madelines was great. Stayed on moonstone beach. H chose Pelican cove inn now also called Pelican Inn and Suites. Loved their waffles in am. We met lots of great people from Canada, England, Australia, Germany, Switzerland during wine and cheese from 3-5. Desserts in pm was great to end day. Met great couple from Midwest and spent some great times with them. We moms had lots in common. Mom60 Loved the trails thank you for telling us about them. Ocean was just what I needed :)

lamom- glad you had a wonderful time. I will check out Madelines on our next trip.
Those trails and the ocean view from them are a treasure. I love the benches made from the driftwood.
