<p>What a hoot! It doesn’t seem to have Mr. President. I checked out a certain Oxford college and it seemed to have that covered.</p>
<p>That range of titles offered is actually not that uncommon on forms here in the UK. I filled out a form for a supermarket card the other day and had to choose amongst a similar selection of grand titles. Annoyingly, sometimes ‘Ms’ is not one of the options.</p>
<p>I once claimed the title of Lady when ordering from the Boden catalog.</p>
<p>^^Now, when you get spam mail addressed to “Lady Electronblue” from someone you’ve never done business with, you will know who sold your contact information to the spammers :D</p>

<p>It is fairly extensive, though a list like that is not unheard of. What I can’t quite fathom though, is that they have one title (The Rt Rev and Rt Hon Lord Williams of Oystermouth) that is quite clearly only applicable to one person (Rowan Williams, the former Archbishop of Canterbury). I can only presume that they have, without discrimination, included every title that alumni have included on their forms in the past.</p>
<p>My son is at Christ’s and he, too, found the list amusing, particularly with regard to the entry for Rowan Williams. As has been stated above, such lists are relatively common in the UK, but the inclusion of the archbishop’s full title is no doubt due to his being a member of the college, where he he studied theology as an undergraduate. He is now Master of Magdalene College and occasionally attends services at Little St Mary’s, where my son is on the rota for servers. He is actually quite a humble man and although it is customary for retired archbishops to be awarded titles, I think he prefers to be addressed as ‘Rowan’.</p>
