Cameras are everywhere - even on Admissions Officers

"It’s a time-honored Philadelphia tradition that borders on being a character trait.

During Sunday’s game between the Eagles and Lions, NFL fans were treated to a close-up shot of an Eagles fan completely losing his cool over a call. If you can read lips, you can see that this guy was upset. Really upset.

"Well, astonishingly, that fan has been identified as … uh … the dean of admissions at the Ivy League’s University of Pennsylvania.

Seriously.

That angry Eagles fan is the smiling, mild-mannered Eric J. Furda from Penn’s admissions page. Again, the screaming man from above is in charge of admissions at one of the world’s most prestigious universities, which is kind of awesome and gloriously Philly at the same time."

um, it’s Philly. I lived there. This is not unusual behavior.

Meh. Keep moving. Nothing to see here.

And lawyers, CEOs and school teachers can be angry fans, too.
I’m sure it’s not just Phila.

So what? He didn’t attack anyone or interfere with anyone. There is NOTHING wrong with his behavior here. AT ALL.

Work is work, and non-work is not work. The guy is free to act however he wants about a football call … it has nothing to do with his ability to do his job (and the fact he works at an Ivy League school does not change that fact).
