<p>Hi everyone. I’m taking a news reporting class this semester and must select a beat on campus to cover for the entire semester. It must be a beat that will yield stories that people would be interested in reading. What beats do you suggest? What issues on campus are you normally interested in reading about? I know this differs from college to college, but some issues remain the same for many colleges. Thanks!</p>
<p>i’m always interested in reading about how so much money and funding and attention goes to our sports program but no where else! especially since our campuses/housing/dining halls are definitely more in need of the money!</p>
