Campus Bus/shuttle

is there a stop from tercero or segundo dorm to young hall??

There are not many bus stops on campus. The bus system is mainly designed to transport people that live off campus to the campus. Some bus lines have stops infront of the art building/shields library and the silo… the rest of the buses go to the MU. I don’t think there is even a bus stop near the Tercero dorms, but there is one around the ARC (near segundo).

Plus, the time you’d spend waiting for the bus (most only come twice an hour), you might as well just walk. Biking, walking, skateboarding or rollarblading are the best ways to get around campus.

so what if students that are going to young hall? that’s really far~ but beside riding a bike

oh stop complaining & get used to it… did you think that that 10 minutes between classes was for chit-chat? no… it’s for speeding your butt across campus to your next class.

(young hall is near the MU, so if you were that desperate… you can take the bus that comes twice an hour to the MU and then sit there for 20 minutes waiting for your class to start… but in all reality you should just get a bike, and use it… get your excercise of the day)

In case it’s not clear… there is no intercampus transportation that you can ride. Those that drive to campus are forced to park in parking lots near the campus edges. Those that take the bus to campus have to get off on the outskirts of campus (with the exception of the shields and silo stops). There is no shuttle for long distances between classes… the idea was proposed last year, but nothing has happened yet. No motorcycles inside campus… no motor driven scooters… every form of transportation between classes must be powered by you - whether it be walking, jogging, running, sprinting, biking, scooting, rollerblading, rollerskating, or skateboarding or whatever else you can think of. Hint: Biking is on average 3 times as fast as walking quickly.

=____= uhhmm…i am not complaining? i am just asking? =.=

You’ll get use to walking more quickly or you’ll start riding your bike.

This isn’t high school and there is quite a large distance to cover between classes. If you were worried about this earlier, you could have scheduled your classes to have more time in between them.

uhhmm
i am not afraid of walking, of course
but i am just asking about the bus…but seems that u guys dont know much…
which is pretty okay…cuz i found them out already
responding to -Evilest…my classes are pretty seperated apart…of course, i didnt want that…but it came out like that…so yeah…

Davis is a great school to have a bike at. Get a mud flap to avoid the freshman stripe. Any old bike will do, the campus is flat.
