Campus Walking Tour (35 minutes)

Someone is in the process of doing YouTube walking tours of Boston area colleges, so far Northeastern and MIT.

Can’t tour campus in person? Good virtual tour of many Northeastern campus areas with limited views of South and North campus.

Thank you for posting this!

My daughter had her visit cancelled last April and we are going to check out the area at end of March. She wants to get a feel for campus and city before she makes her decision. I know everything is closed to the public but does anyone have any suggestions of what we shouldn’t miss seeing from the outside?

As for the campus cross the pedestrian bridge to South Campus. The video at 15:30 shows ISEC and the construction site of the new EXP building, also known as ISEC II, Walk to Columbus Ave and see the LightView and International Village Residences.

Across from West Campus is the Museum of Fine Arts. A short T ride away is Prudential Center and Copley Place which in normal times are buzzing with activity.

Hopefully. by the end of March the snow banks will be gone and the temperatures will be more reasonable.

In the NU Parents Facebook group they say that tours are available weekdays by going to the Visitor Center.

Make sure to have breakfast, lunch or a coffee stop at Tatte Bakery and Cafe - several locations including one right at Northeastern below the student gym/center. A parent and teen treat

Great, thanks for the info! We are looking forward to the trip!

Hi @TomSrOfBoston, thanks for sharing my youtube video! I hope this video helps parents and students in this difficult year.

I will upload new campus tour videos every week. Stay tuned! : )
