can a 3.6 college gpa get in as a transfer?

… with a good essay and recs?

I would be transfering as a Junior

Thanks.

depends on the major.

If you’re an engineering major yes

Probably a yes for many majors!

most likely depends on what classes you took

yes yes yes… doesnt depend on major… if you have sufficient other merits, then yes…

i got into clas(which i guess isnt very hard, but still) with a 3.5… and ive seen ppl with lower :)

how many recs do they want for a tranfer?

i want to transfer to their B-school. I am currently in one also.

3.6 is pretty low for Marshall. They could have taken people with lower GPAs but I don’t see many (unless you’re an international student with strong financial declaration then it might get u in with a 3.6) It also depends on your course load and of course the personal statement is very important. I have a friend who got in Marshall with a 3.76 (the advisor said it was a slim chance) but he had 4.0s for all the pre-reqs

They don’t require any recs but it’s beneficial to include 1 or 2

what schools at USC are less competitive to get into as a transfer?

thanks

I think CLAS, Economics is easier to transfer to compared to Marshall

i had just under a 3.6 cumulative for Marshall as a junior. no recs, not many ECs maybe they just wanted my monies
