can a high school student take the CLEP exam?

I'm a 12th grader thinking of taking the business law exam just so my parents have to pay the fees instead of me paying the tuition in college (they making me pay for college, sigh). Is it possible?

I might as well take as many of these tests so I can to waive as much fees as possible.

The short answer is: Yes. It's just like an AP or SAT test in regards to registration.

the short answer is yes, anyone can sign up and take the exam. The daughter of a friend of mine took a boat load of these at the end of her senior year and placed out of about a year's worth of courses at the local state college she attended. BUT, make sure that the college you think you will attend accepts CLEP. Most selective colleges do not.

What would you guys say is the difficulty level of CLEP? Is is harder or easier than the AP?

much easier than AP
