I received a quarter D in Stat last year (68.5%) Combination of senioritis/my own laziness, bad teacher, and the fact that I wasn’t a strong math student to begin with. I received a first semester C, which was reported when I was accepted. My school only reports semester grades, and if I get a C, according to our policies, it will round to a C. However, our final quarter for seniors is much shorter and there’s not much time to bring my grade up. Could I get my acceptance revoked/Honors+URSP revoked? I’m really worried about it and doing my best now, but I don’t know if it’s too late. Even if my acceptance to UF isn’t revoked, could they revoke my Honors+URSP acceptance?
I’m really disappointed in myself, and for context, I have all As with 1 B for Semester 1, as well as now, and I got straight As every semester of HS, except a C in Algebra 2 freshman year and 3 Bs in Spanish and Bio. I managed to get all As in the second semester of Algebra 2, both semesters of Precalc, and IB Calc due to a lot of hard work and better teachers. I have a lot of math/test-taking related anxiety, and I’m really upset that now after 4 years of an upward trend in math, it might all be for nothing.
Does anyone have any experience with UF Honors related admissions?
What do the conditions of admission say?
Usually, a D in a course that was in-progress at the time of application means danger for rescission.

What do you mean by this? On their website, it says stuff about 4 years of English, math, etc which I all have, 3.0 GPA (which I have), and “All offers of admission are tentative and will remain so until the Office of Admissions receives and reviews final transcripts and credentials. Students who are admitted conditionally may enroll, subject to verification of satisfaction of all conditions of admission. Admission offers will be revoked if final coursework/credentials do not meet admission requirements. Should that occur, the student’s classification will change to a non-degree status and future enrollment will be denied”. But their minimum admission requirements just say “A satisfactory academic record”
Get over to your guidance counselor’s office- today.
The only people who can answer your question are in the UF admissions office, and the person to call to discuss this is your GC.
Good luck.

Your acceptance letter likely has some criteria that you need to meet grade wise for senior year, so check that. Any insights @Gator88NE ?
Seconding get into your counselor’s office ASAP to discuss this with them, including how you can make sure you can get a C this qtr. Talk with your stats teacher as well. Good luck.

all it says is: Note: This offer of admission is tentative until we receive your final high school and/or college transcript(s) and official test scores to verify your eligibility.

UF isn’t likely to revoke your acceptance (or honor’s college), unless you fail your class. They understand a bump in the road, and the impact of revoking your acceptance, this late in the game.
As the others have said, talk to your school counselor (it will make you feel better) and focus on getting your grade up to a C.
okay thank you so much! I’ll go talk to her and ask what she says. Could I also email admissions, or is that unnecessary? Someone mentioned to me that their incoming class is huge so it’s hard to keep track of things like this
