Hello there!!! =] =] =] =] =] =] =] =] =] =]

+Varsity Hockey Cheerleader

 • Captain junior year
 • Designed the t-shirts

+Track and Field

 • 100m sprints, I am pretty much the DIVA of my 4x4 team… we’re all princesses

LEADERSHIP:
*** Started the Fashion Team***

 • We design outfits and make them, and compete against other groups on the team to see who can come up with the best wardrobe. It’s serious fail because no one ever comes. One time I was the only person who came to practice, so I had to make fringes alone.
 • I have recruited 26 girls. Only about 6 actually come to practice, and that many is rare.
 • Meet M, Thu

*** Assisted in organization of “Revelation Week” this fall, which was a program in my school that pushed kids away from trying drugs and alcohol.***

 • I had to RAP in front of all the kids at lunch for this, and the freshman boys threw food at me, so I deserve some credit for this.

I am an algebra princess.

*** Junior Leadership Committee ***

Key Club-Assistant Chair

RECS: My English teacher from this year said she’ll write me a great rec.

ACADEMIC STUFF:

 • I want to get a mentor and do some psychological research this summer, since I want to go into that field. It seems like it’d be really interesting to look into something in that field that no one knows about.

Well, the last person to write this ridiculously and enthusiastically was oprah, and he got in. Based on that alone, I’d say you’ve got an excellent shot.

Sarah Palin?

…omgz, I think they’re catching on to me…

Nah seriously. Not funny. =]

^ u need to stop with the princess thing.

Stanford has a things for princesses from the “Land of hott guys, lipstick…”

I really do want to know if anyone actually thinks that I have a legitimate chance here…

cute, but too lazy to read through all that.

next time, clean it up a bit? i mean if you want people to chance, at least try to not want to make them kill themselves while reading through it

sorry, that was a bit harsh. but really, we don’t know what part of the profile is real and what isn’t

You have a legitimate chance. Anyone with that much dedication has a legitimate chance. However, your recs and essays really have to be superb. By that I mean, you really really have to “home run” one. You know what, forget the “home run” you have to KILL THE ESSAYS.

If you don’t think essays and recs matter … mhm. Say that to the rejectees w/ 4.0UW GPAs and 2400 SATs : l

I’m not one of them, but ESSAYS WILL BE YOUR DECIDING FACTOR.

No SAT, no go

You can use the ACT in place of the SAT. Plus, there’s still a year worth of SATs left for her to take. What is Algebra Princess supposed to mean anyways?

"If you don’t think essays and recs matter … mhm. Say that to the rejectees w/ 4.0UW GPAs and 2400 SATs : l

I’m not one of them, but ESSAYS WILL BE YOUR DECIDING FACTOR."

Very good point. To the PRINCESS - I do think it depends on your essays, from my own experience. I was one of those rejectees above! Specifically, something from your essays should make them think you’re STANFORD MATERIAL. What that means, no idea whatsoever.

This post made me laugh a lot… “chance a princess” & “juniorette”??? what? hahaha.

I think you have as good of a chance as any, especially if your personality amuses the admissions officers as much as it has amused me  haha!

you better be hot cuz i just spent a longer than avg time reading ur profile. honestly, i think u have an above average chance.

correction: you dont need to take the SAT. i didnt (i actually got the exact same ACT score that you did) and i got in SCEA
i think that you have an alright chance
but just alright =/

Haha you remind me of Sarah Palin. Related?

Jokes.

Why ONLY alright? I don’t think we can tell!! I think it really depends on the essay.

"I sort of guessed half of it and got lucky. I’m tied with like a bazillion kajillion people. wowww, $800.I am an algebra princess. " + your location seems to be pushing the normal cute girly girl vibe.

am i the only one slightly annoyed? just seems pretty fake…

anyways, your chances look decent if you’re not a ■■■■■.

Uhh, just because someone lives in Alaska doesn’t mean that they’re boring and lack personality.
