can a rec letter come from my psych teacher?

<p>okay on the uchicago website, it says that it requires 2 recs from ACADEMIC teachers. so, is psychology considered an “academic” subject?</p>

<p>also, why can’t i see the different majors on the uchicago supplement? like usually, there will be a drop down box where you can pick a college and then the major within that. i do not see this drop down box. i see the essays and general info just fine.</p>

<p>I heard UChicago has that left-brain and right-brain thing so make sure you add a rec from a science/math teacher.</p>
