I’ll be a sophomore next year and I have a some-what difficult schedule. It is:
- Advanced Weight Training
- Religion II
- Conceptual Physics (might be in H. Chemistry)
- Honors English II
- AP World History
- Honors Spanish III
- Dance
- Honors Algebra II

I am thinking about self-studying for AP Gov or AP Human Geography. Has anyone self-studied these before? Is it a bad idea to do so?

not a bad idea at all! you may even want to do both!

I don’t know how hard AP Gov or AP Human Geo is, although purportedly the latter is an “easier” AP.

But yeah, I was in a similar situation last year, taking AP Calc BC, AP Physics Mechanics, and AP World, and I went ahead and self-studied AP Stat (all 5s). So I certainly say it’s doable, and advisable if you want potential college credit. Pick a subject that’s relatively simple to self study (so not like, AP Physics E/M) and to your liking (optional though, just might make it more enjoyable).

Good luck!

buy ap books from amazon, learn time management, and remember anything is possible

also, take a few practice tests and figure out where you currently stand
