Can a top undergraduate business degree become fatal?

I’m very interested in business schools and am looking at some of the top ones. I just had one quick question. If I went to an undergrad business school for four years and graduated from there, would it be harder to get a job in a different field (i.e. baseball statistics)?

I am kind of torn between pursuing a business career and doing something mathematical in the baseball industry. If I went to a 4-yr. undergrad business school and after 3 years, realized I want to do baseball stuff, would a business degree have been for nothing. Should I just try to do artsci?
