Can afford to go to UCSB?

<p>so i got ELC to UCSB, and might even go there.</p>

<p>but the problem is, i might not be able to afford to go to a UC</p>

<p>currently, i qualified for pell grant ($5500)</p>

<p>and</p>

<p>cal grant (combine total about $12000)</p>

<p>but UC’s total cost of attending is around $30000 these days</p>

<p>does this mean i still have to pay around $10000 to attend to a UC</p>

<p>or will they give me more money to attend?</p>

<p>i want to know if i should go to a community college then get TAGed to SB instead</p>
