Can anyone a transfer a bit about the BE program?

I’m a prospective transfer, currently at my 2nd year of CC. I’m making a list of colleges I am interested in applying to, and I’m a bit on the fence about UCB.

I don’t doubt it’s a great institute, numbers don’t lie. I am a prospective BE major. I know that, well, one of the problems at any large public university, is the class size. I know that this mostly applies at the freshman and sophomore level, but I’ve also been wondering what the junior-level class sizes are like (or, maybe the BE upper divisions, to be more specific).

You can research this yourself - go to [Search Fall - Online Schedule Of Classes](http://schedule.berkeley.edu/srchfall.html)
select Upper Division for Course Classification and the department for your intended major. You will get a list of all junior/senior level classes from this semester, with the current enrollment and max class size.

In most majors you tend to find clusters of classes in the 30-40 range, some go down to 5 or 10, but also a few that range up to 100 or so if it is a common class to many classes or a mandatory requirement of the degree rather than one of a set of alternatives or an elective.

Thanks mate! I was having a hard time finding this.
