can anyone finish the sat an hour early?

Can anyone finish the SAT’s an hour early and clam to get a 2000, my friend clams he can get this.

Everyone finishes the SAT at exactly the same time since it’s in 10 timed sections and you’re required to stay until the last one is done.

But on a practice one, yeah.

What’s the difference between the time on a practice and on the real one. Even on the practice if i skip my breaks, not follow the proctor, I only finish about 30 minutes before the time limit. Plus, my scores ranged from 2000-2100, but my friend gets high 2200’s while listening to music and going on breaks.

On a practice SAT, your time constraints are not rigid since you are presumably the one controlling them, so you can shave off quite a bit of time. In the real SAT, you have exactly x amount of time for everything, so even if you finish early, you have to wait until time is up.

So your friend moves on to the next section whenever he/she finishes? That’s called cheating.

No, on a practice sat, one that we grade ourselves. I thought he was lying. Since aren’t the SAT made so that you have just about enough time to finish the sections. I mean, based on what he claims, he would have to be able to finish one section in approximately 11 minutes.

It’s definitely possible, especially if he did the essay, and can write really quickly.

Practice test: Yes.
Real deal: No.
