Hey guys
I am an international student applying RD
my problem is that
I took the SAT twice. the first time I got 1400 and in the second time I got 1440. I submitted my 1400 score and wrote it in the common app and didn’t mention the 1400 score. I was inept I know because I listened to someone who told me to do that. now I want to send my 1440 score. will they accept it from me and consider it in making my decision? or they already put the decision. and what should I tell them?
is that may harm my application?
The review process is certainly well underway, but I don’t see a downside sending them your new score.
Good luck!!
@AlmostThere2018 thanks. do you think that I should send the 1440 score? or 1400 is good? I’m reluctant and I want to send 1440 to consider it in making my decision because 1400 is not competitive enough.
do u get my point?
what is ur opinion
Well, 1440 is slightly better so I don’t see a downside to sending it. I know international acceptance is very difficult so I have no idea if it will make a difference. Davidson takes holistic approach so I’m sure they will look at more than your scores. Good luck!!
@AlmostThere2018 thanks so much.
where did you get accepted?
@Escapism1973 hey! I’m not an expert but your first SAT score (1400) is very good, especially on your first time taking the test. Do you think a 40 point increase will make any difference? The score you sent is pretty high so I don’t think it could possibly hurt your chances. You have absolutely nothing to worry about IMO. Best of luck!
