Off the top of my head, Blackstone Group. There are others, just can’t think of them.

Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin is another one…btw redhare Blackstone is not an ibank it is a private equity fund.

The Royal Bank of Scottland baught Coutt’s of London a few years ago and became a pretty big player in the IB world. I think Toronto Dominion is also up there. HSBC and ANZ Grindley’s are pretty significant too. Finally, Prudential.

sorry wrong post

Friedman Billings Ramsey, Piper Jaffray, WR Hambrecht, Royal Bank of Canada, Cantor Fitzgerald, Raymond James, Harris Bankcorp.
Though of course some of these are not huge players…

Raymond James has a co-opp program with my school. Just found out by doing a little research.

AG Edwards & Son is one that isn’t on there.

Wells Fargo Advisors: Financial Advisors, Investing, Retirement;

Several Banks aren’t on there.

Prudential Financial?
Charles Schwab?

CIBC and RBC have investment banking arms as well

Just a random question…Does anyone have a list of investment banks that have trading floors in Chicago as well as NYC?

I’m asking because I’ll probably end up going to Michigan for college, and Michigan probably has a stronger reputation in Chicago than in NYC…plus in NYC you have to compete with Stern AND Wharton grads.
