I am not asking for an easy school where I don’t have to study. I am asking for suggestions for schools that don’t work against their students - such that if I work hard and learn the material I will be well positioned for med school. I do not want a school that creates difficult curves that make it unnecessarily difficult to maintain a good GPA - I’ve heard this is true for Cornell, WUSTL, and JHU - although I would love to hear if those rumors are accurate. I will not be able to get into HYP or Brown so I am interested in schools below the very top. I know people have asked this question in the past - but most of those threads are very old. Thanks so much.
How about LACs in the 30-60 US News ranking range?
Extending the range suggested above by just a bit, you could look into colleges such as Bates, Franklin & Marshall, St. Lawrence and Wooster.
Boston College, U of Miami, North Carolina ,Purdue,Indiana, Wisconsin, SMU.

It would be helpful if you could let us know more of what type of school you are looking for. Large/small, urban/urban w/bubble/suburban/rural, research U/LAC, location within the country, etc.
As far as I know, there are students who graduate Summa Cum Laude at every school, but not every student does. If you look at schools where your stats put you comfortably in the Top 25% of students attending it seems you’d be well prepared foundationally to do as well as other students if you put in the work.
