can anyone tell me about u of chicago?

<p>Hey… so I stumbled upon U of Chicago’s supplemental essays, and I found them fascinating, haha. I may go and write one for fun. I’ve also heard that UChicago is the least number-orientated school in the nation (although numbers do count) and that they put a lot of weight into your essays, so I wondered if anyone can give me some more infomation about UChicago? (I don’t know very much about it :() Not only in their academics, strengths/weaknesses, but the feel of the student body, campus, location, and so forth… </p>

I don’t know whether that’s true since one can’t really measure it. However, it is true that a lot of weight is placed on the essays. They’re especially interested in your ability to articulate why you want to come to Chicago.</p>
