Can CC solve a lint magnet duvet cover??

Any one have any clues what to use on a very dark cotton duvet cover that is simply a lint magnet. I love the colour and design, but it attracts fuzzies like crazy. I have washed & dried it and tried fabric softener sheets, but no luck.

Any one else have any ideas?

Use of those rollers with sticky tape (used to get the millions of dog hairs off our clothes).
As far as preventing it, try using a laundry soap for dark fabrics and liquid fabric softener in the wash. It probably won’t help but that’s all I’ve got.

They sell things that are like electric razors for removing sweater fuzzies.

Once you have them off, I think your only alternative is to wash it by itself, preferably inside out, and dry it by itself using a dryer sheet.

I do use the roller thing when company is coming, though it very quickly again looks as if there was a party of persians sprawling all over it. I will give the liquid softener a try!

It is not pilling like sweaters, it is more like static electricity.

I had a duvet cover that did that. My solution was to sell it at a garage sale.

I did not want to hear that CM16! I love the color, when I can see it through the lint & fuzzies

Once upon a time, back in the days when I had to wear polyester nursing uniforms, there was a static cling spray I could spray on my nylons or on my slip, to keep my skirt from riding up or clinging to my legs. I wonder if they still make that spray, and if it would help your problem? ----

Yeah, I just Googled it. They still make it; it’s called Static Guard, and WalMart sells it.

I too had a duvet cover like that. My solution was to put another duvet cover over it. Solved the problem. And was warmer.

Is there such a thing as a duvet cover cover?
