I am going to take three electives courses for my IR major that pertain to China. These courses would seemingly also fulfill the Chinese minor requirement for electives with relevant course material. However, can these classes count towards both requirements?

Thanks.

I LOVE PENN!!. I am sorry I just wanted to say that

Go check out the website for each major. I do believe courses can count for two majors, but there is a set number of “crossover courses” you can have.

Penn says, “Students who are double majoring must have 18 unique courses between the two majors.”

Be sure to talk to your adviser about this.

answer: yes. Minor classes can pretty much double count for anything.
