Can creating a university email late damage your admission?

I don’t understand how I am “conditionally” accepted to CSUDH. I was notified around late January. I have a good GPA, a 3.6 for my school and I’m in the top 10% of my senior class. My SAT score was a 1510 and ACT 19 but I did my best. I have 2 APs: Calc and Lit. Many others in my school have been accepted to CSUDH way before me and some don’t even have AP classes. I strive as hard as them, probably even harder. I know I put in 1 little mistake on my app putting the wrong dates of attendance in my school but I notified them and they said as long as I turned in my transcripts, I’m okay. Is that probably it? Oh and when I found out about my admission, I did not fond out about my nonexisting email until a day after. Can that also possibly be a factor?

Pretty much every college acceptance is provisional, no matter what school it is. They all expect you to continue to do well in senior year, graduate high school, not be a felon, etc. if you don’t do one of these they’ll rescind your provisional acceptance.

I really doubt this has anything to do with putting wrong dates or not making an email.

Ah I see okay thanks I appreciate it.
