can essay graders judge the essay based on frequency of example?

<p>for example, 1984 is a frequently used example in the essays. can essay graders look down upon the use of this example simply because it is used so frequently? i need a 12 on my essay (last time i received an 8 because i argued both “yes” and “no”) so i am kinda freaking out. i appreciate your input.</p>

<p>Anyway, on the “Get a 12 in 10 days” thread it said things like the Declaration of Independence, Hitler, and etc (things that an elementary school student would know) is a no no.</p>
