i applied to ucla as undecided, and am planning on transferring to the school of engineering (if i get in ucla, of course). i have heard that when you try to transfer they look at your high school grades to determine if you are eligible. does this include senior grades? i did very well first semester of my senior year, but this semester, i started off bad, and am already slacking off quite a bit. i’m trying to put more effort into academics, but lately i’m losing motivation.

so the question is, if i want to transfer into engineering at ucla (which i really do), can i not afford to let my grades slip a bit, or can i have a bit of slack this semester?

i applied to ucla with a act score of 33, and gpa of 4.13 uc capped. my first semester gpa weighted was 4.6 out of 4.8
