Can I apply EA to 2 schools?

Can I apply EA to both Northeastern and UMass Amherst? I’ve been looking online and just can’t find an answer.

And if I were to apply to both EA, would the other one know? Would it hurt my chances?

I think I remember an NE rep telling me that I could apply to other schools EA in addition to NE, but what about UMass Amherst?

Gah, I am just so confused!

And the deadline’s Nov. 1, so I need an answer ASAP please :)

Yes you can apply to more than one EA school unless it is considered a SCEA (Single-Choice Early Action) which means you can only apply to 1 EA. Make sure they aren’t SCEA.

I had been planning on applying EA to NE, but now I’m thinking I might as well do it for UMass as well. I have another question. I only filled out a transcript request form for NE, but can I just submit my CommonApp stuff by Nov 1 and send the others stuff later (which includes SAT/AP scores, teacher recs, resume, and of course the transcript)?

You can apply EA to more than one school as long as one of them’s not Yale or Stanford (those two are the only SCEA)

Thanks!

Does anyone have an answer to my other ?s ? I’m thinking it might be too late for me to apply to UMass.

I think those need to be in by Nov. 1 as well…

I think I’m just confused because the website says:

so you have to get your application in by 11/1, the school has to release your transcript to them by 12/1.
you should be fine.
