This year I got accepted into a few IVIES (the lower ones) without much effort- now I really regret not going for Harvard. I wasn’t allowed to apply to Harvard before because the teachers didn’t even believe that I would get into the Ivy League Unis that I applied to. However, I got accepted by all 3 of them (U Penn, Columbia, Cornell)

If I directly contact Harvard, or write a brilliant essay on my subject or something, impress them before summer, would I stand a chance? Or is this ABSOLUTELY impossible? (I mean, I know it is tough to get into Harvard and all, but I’m just wondering if people ever get accepted this way)

A better plan would be to enroll at your top choice among the schools to which you have been accepted, and then, if after a year you are doing well but your interest in Harvard persists, apply for a transfer.

And while Penn, Columbia, and Cornell are great schools, just because you were accepted to those 3, it does not by any means translate to likely admittance at Harvard.
