Can I apply to a college to transfer before I take the required courses?

Essentially, I am taking classes at my local community college and plan to transfer into njit as ce major. So, I have to get a few classes down here (mostly a math and physics class but I need to take 2 math classes before I can take the final one that njit requires and only after I take that high level math njit wants will I be able to take physics at the community college .

Basically my plan is, first semester take the first math class I need, second semester take the second, and then first summer session I can take the final math class I need, then second session I can take physics. Here’s the problem though, do I need to wait another year now or until the next December of whatever to apply? Could I apply back around the first/second semester and somehow tell them I plan to take the math and physics class in the summer? Would that work or they wouldn’t allow it?

Sometimes that strategy can work. However you should discuss it with the Transfer Admissions Office at NJIT.
