<p>I know that UC Berkeley does not count freshman year. But also if you get a D or F you can’t apply. I got a D freshman year, does that mean I can’t apply?</p>

<p>Perhaps you saw that acceptance can be rescinded based on a D or F. That is for students who have applied, been offered admission by Cal, and accepted the offer. The offer is conditional on senior year high school only. Basically, no D or F in senior year, unweighted avg each semester of at least 3.0, and must take all the courses that you listed in your application as planned senior year classes.</p>
