I live in two states, both I can claim residency (and even a third, my home state) for college. I’m currently enrolled full time in California at the local junior college. However, there’s a few classes for my major that do not articulate with UCLA. It also doesn’t help that the school keeps dropping programs and classes.

There’s currently 4 classes that I would need for UCLA, but the school doesn’t offer it.

I spend my summers in Texas, and could take courses at the local community college to fill in those gaps.

A) Can I claim residency in two states for college admission?
B) Can I get any assistance from the Texas school, if I already get the California BOG fee waiver? I know I’ve already maxed out my Pell Grant benefits.
C) Will this improve my chances of getting into UCLA?

I just feel like my summers are wasted as there are not many online courses available that I need to take. I’ve pretty much finished all the General Ed courses possible.
