Need a 9.5 or higher UTR

You are underestimating the quality of D3 athletes. For most sports they are just as skilled as D1 athletes, they are just not as physically gifted. Check out the rosters of Vassar and read their bio’s, a lot of HS #1’s with notable accomplishments in regional/state tournaments, inside and outside of school.

If you have a 2.56 UTR in high school, then playing college tennis is not possible for you.
