I submitted my Duke supplement on the night of December 9th because I thought that if I had not, I would not have been given the opportunity to have an alumni interview. As it turns out, I haven’t gotten a response about an interview (I live close to Atlanta) and I need to change the supplement essay I submitted for Trinity College with a new revised one. Will Duke allow me to replace my supplement essay now?

I would be extremely surprised if you could–the CommonApp says that when you submit anything on their website, it is final–but you may want to call the Duke admissions office to be sure.

Also, I think it takes more than a couple days for them to contact you about your interview. They’ll probably cantact you sometime within the next month. The fact that you live in Atlanta almost guarantees you an interview, even if you apply late–there are large numbers of alumni interviewers in any metropolitan area.

I just talked to a friend of mine and she said that the CommonApp says that you if you want to change your supplement, you’ve got to contact the school (her source was the CommonApp website).

Can anyone verify this.
