I completed English Comp 1 (Engl. 1a) and Critical Thinking (Engl. 2a) at two different California Community College.

The schools are not sister schools.

I’m interested in signing a TAG to UCSB for Fall '13.

Yes you can. I was just accepted as a transfer to UC Davis for fall 2012. I am an older student and over many years I have attended 4 different cc’s. One is in the San DIego area, one in LA, and two in Northern CA. It makes no difference how many different cc’s you go to. You will have plenty of space and instructions on how to enter all community college classes on the TAG application.

30 semester / 45 quarter must be completed in residence at a CCC.

Both of my cc’s are in California, but I only need to put in 15 semester units at my final CC.

What they mean by “in residence at a CCC” is that it must be done at a CCC and that a CCC has to be your main school, not a 4-year. It doesn’t matter if it’s multiple CCCs all over the state.
