Can I do 2D and Drawing?

With 2 concentrations? Can I use the same breadth? PM me if you know.

Update- I did it! 4 and a 3.

It’s not recommended, but you could potentially get away with it.
From the collegeboard FAQs :
Q: Can a student submit two portfolios at the same time?
A: Yes, but the work in the two portfolios must be completely separate from each other. No overlap of work is permitted.

Consider this : the collegeboard readers have to go through roughly 40k portfolios each year.

I wouldn’t do it though. Seems like a whole lot of money and stress.

You can, but I wouldn’t reccomend it. The portofolios aren’t supposed to reuse work and that would be a loooot of artwork to try to do in one year… I’d just aim to get one done, on portolio is 24 pieces alone with breath and concentration. If you’re trying to get 48 piecees done you’re probably more likely to get lower scores unless you can produce very very quickly at a really high quality rate. Like I did about one piece a week to get my portfolio done starting in November… that means you’d have to do double that. o.O

haha, I already did this? It worked out fine. I didn’t reuse any work; I didn’t need to. I finished the first portfolio in February and the second in April. I can’t imagine working on a piece for more than a week. I did my best work in 3 hours or less per piece; pastels are kind of my thing. Also, the portfolio I worked on for the longest got a lower score. I didn’t get a five, but I’m very happy with my four, and pretty ok with the three as well. Sometimes I worked through lunch, but because art is my passion, it wasn’t hard to do. I used some photos for 2D, maybe 4 or 5–but not because of lack of time. Also, since I paid for it, I don’t feel bad about making the AP grader look at one more portfolio. It was a good choice.
