Can I further improve my SAT score/Is this a good score for what I'm looking at?

I received a 1970 on my most recent SAT test (March 10th). With a 650 on math, 670 on reading, and a 650 on writing. This was a 120 point jump from my previous score of 1850 in October. I am a high school junior and I have a 4.5 GPA weighted. I was wondering two things.
1. How might I further improve my SAT scores? It seems like every time I take a practice test, I keep getting the same score.
 2. Is this score good enough to get some scholarships to say Maryland: College Park or Penn State? Also I am aiming at something over 2000 for my SAT’s. What are some possible schools I could looks at (I am looking to major in Computer Science and possibly minor in business). Thanks!

I would focus on getting your writing score up first, since it’s the easiest to raise. (I went from 610 to 690 in less than one month). Read sparknotes’ “seven deadly errors” and become familiar with all tested rules on the SAT. Then just practice a lot until you get the hang of it and you should see a significant increase.

Your 1970 score should be good enough to get you into Penn State and UMD (provided the rest of your app is good) but if you want good scholarship money you should aim for 2050+, especially for UMD.

Northeastern’s college of Comp. Sci. is pretty good. I’m not sure about minor in business but you should check it out.
