Hey Guys im about to be a senior in High school this upcoming year and i was wondering what my odds are of getting into UCR?
-3.58 GPA
-I was in varsity Track and Field for a year
I have Done community service at parks and church.
-I also help babysit one of my neighbors since sophomore year
-Im part of Avid and EAOP clubs
-I intend to run for Avid class president this year
What are my chances at getting in?Thanx for the help!

The average GPA and SAT for 2012 UCR admits is 3.7 and 1711, respectively. You didn’t post your SAT score so I’d say as long as you get in the 1900s on your SAT you’re golden.

I’ve known some kids that’ve gotten 1400s and a 3.3 GPA and gotten in.

They take extracurricularss, but your SAT score is way below the mean score for accepted students this year. I think the average score for accepted students was around 1700. It depends on the major you apply for.

According to Campus Discovery, the average GPA for students who were admitted is 3.4. But the graph also shows a few students who had 2.4 GPA who were admitted.

If a student with a 2.4 GPA can get in, you can get in.

you wont get in with that SAT score, you will need at least a 1850 or higher. Im going to be a freshman this year at UCR. I got in as a Biology major with a 3.75 GPA and 1500 SAT score. My friend had a 3.3GPA with a 1860 SAT score and didn’t get accepted.
So you should really take a SAT class in order to have shot.

It would be a high reach. A score of 1370 better be just math and cr because if not, its well below average. You should study a lot and I think you stand a great chance! Good luck! Chance me :)
