Hello,
I have a 3.7 UW and 4.1-4.2 W gpa. I have taken 7 honors classes and 6 AP. I created my own non-profit service organization and help at many others. I am in NHS and am an officer in two school clubs. My SAT’s are not good 1100/1600 1660/2400. I took them again in June and did not improve. Should I take again in Oct? I am interested in Business/Fashion Merchandising depending on the school…
Also any suggestions with Fashion Merchandising, I know FIT and Parsons are very reputable but I really prefer a normal college campus life!

My List:
Marist College
Villanova- my mom, dad, uncles, and sister have graduated
FIT
University of Miami
Texas Christian University
Baylor University
SCAD
University of Delaware
Fairfield University

Your course load and service organization are certainly impressive–although I’m not experienced enough to rank your chances at the school’s you’d like, I’d definitely recommend taking the SAT again. (Try a course to prepare, or check out Princeton Review’s SAT book?)

Summer allows many oppertunities to study up, and you may be able to increase it a great amount, which would help your chances.

Or, instead, perhaps give the ACT a try? Often times a student is much better than one test over the other, and because they’re equally valued at colleges, it could be a great tool!

I believe there’s a test date in early September, giving you plenty of time. The other bright side is you usually don’t have to take SAT subject tests to compliment it :- )
