what i thought was a really good essay; b/c my college counselor fell in love with it; but maybe she doesnt know what shes talking about. i wrote about politics but i didnt side with any party at all; i just mentioned why i like it and my experience with it. i thought it was entertaining. -ahh maybe i should rewrite; write about something safe like my life through movies??
-would gw apprecioate an essay about politics?

GW-sending out app friday; just found out about this school; really like it because of its city campus and the enviroment. -maybe my politics essay would fit in more here.

avaluv,

My son just got accepted to GW…his SAT’s were much lower than yours…so I would say that you have a good shot! His essay was about politics…he wrote about Ronald Regan…great essay! Good luck to you!

many people don’t know or recognize that GW is much mre difficult to get into RD. you’ve obviously missed the ED 1 deadline, but be prepared for a weak envelope to go along with your weak SAT scores.

avaluv,

If you applied ED you would have a good chance; RD will be much harder. Even though you missed out on ED1, you may still be able to apply EDII; call the admissions office to see if you can still apply. Best of luck!

Hey- I got a 1230 on my SAT’s and got in ED1…EDII is probably your best shot! Good luck!

I think EDII deadline is Jan. 15.

Yeah, ED II deadline is the same as RD.
