My grades suck. I’m an ABC student, with some A’s, some B’s, and an occasional C. However, I’m an international student who moved in highschool from America to India, and I have strong synesthesia that sometimes gets in the way of academics. I have three national awards in debate and writing, as well as have started the only debate club in my city. Do I still have a shot at a top school, or do my grades still plummet my chances?
It depends on the colleges.There are many reputable colleges where you will get a fine education. Will they be in the top 20? Not likely. Good luck.
Top 100 college… probably. Top 20 college… probably not.
