I received a D in AP Calc A second semester of junior year in high school. I feel as if my dreams of attending a UC are crushed. Is there any chance of me getting accepted? Please and thank you.

sob I have a D too…

if the D is in a required course, you would need to repeat it. But since Calc is not a required course you do not have to repeat. And yes, you will be accepted into a UC if you meet the minimum requirements; perhaps not your first choice, however. (it might be Merced)

Someone from my school got an F and was accepted into UCR don’t lose your hope

Thank you for your responses!
I have a 2050 SAT score and UC gpa of about 3.6, along with a few extra curricular activities such as 100 hours of volunteering at a local hospital, bible study teacher for first graders at church, attended the NSLC for Medicine and Health Care at UCB, etc.
Do you think I could at least get into UC Santa Cruz or UC Riverside? I’m so worried that I’ll get denied everywhere!
