To consider: from the lowest income bracket.

Sure, you can get into any of them.
You have great numbers and low income is the new darling of those schools, so good hook.

@8bagels Thank you for the comment. I have been repeatedly told that my ECs are too low for these schools. Will my ECs hold me back?

Yes those stats are very solid for the schools that you mentioned. You still have some time to add ECs to your list. Most of the schools you mentioned would be happy for a student like you, however, no one is a shoo in for Ivies

Do you work? That counts as a “strong EC”.
What sticks out is your translation work, highlight it and continue it.
Colleges that are especially good for lower income students include Vassar, Pomona, Yale. (Overall, HYP have excellent financial aid for lower income students). Notre Dame is good also.

Very impressive stats, you’re competitive for any of those colleges. I’m confident you’ll get into at least one. Sorry to go off topic from the thread, but how did u do so well on math 2 (which prep book etc.)? Thanks, and good luck!

@java23 thank you! Do you have any recommendations for summer/senior year ECs?

@MYOS1634 Thanks! I forgot to mention that. I work part time, and I also work as a translator as well! I guess I will try to do more translations over the summer.

@ambitionsquared thank you for your comment and the encouragement! I actually received the math score today. I prepared for the exam for around a month using “Dr. John Chung’s SAT 2 Math” prep book. I also had the Barron’s book but didn’t like it as much. If you have any other questions, you can message me.
