I’m in the top 20% of my class, my grades aren’t outstanding but I wouldn’t say they’re terrible. GPA unweighted is 3.65, first sat 1870 (640 m, 650 cr, 580 g). I know my grammar score is pretty low but I’m taking my second on june 6th and hoping for 2000-2100, basically really close to a 700 on each section. I also have good extracurricular activities:
-Varsity Soccer 3 years, Varsity lacrosse 2 years, Varsity track 2 years
-Peer mentor
-Tutor
-Volunteer at local soup kitchen
-Clubs: GSA (gay straight alliance), interact club, National honor society, National social studies honor society, and relay for life
-I was accepted into my schools selective science research program (35 out of 91 applicants) in which I actually do research and work in a laboratory with my mentor.
-I lifeguard
-I have very good relationships with my teachers
(I’m also a black female not sure if that matters)
