Can I get into Bucknell, Villanova, Clemson, Providence...

So these are the schools that I plan to apply to:
Bucknell University, Loyola University of Maryland, Providence College, Villanova University, Clemson, University of Richmond, Quinnipiac, and Susquehanna.

I am a white female from New Jersey and I graduate from high school in the spring of 2016.
My school does not have a 4.0 gpa scale so it is 93.44/100 weighted. My school does not rank either.
My SAT scores are 530 for critical reading and 570 for math and writing.
My ACT score is 24.

I have not taken any AP classes however I plan on graduating with 2 college level courses.
I will have taken 3 years of science, history, and spanish, 4 years of english, p.e., and math, and 3 business courses. I have mostly received As in all of my courses.
I have made honor roll (90-94 average) every quarter and I am in the National Honor Society

My extracurricular activities include:
-orchestra (9)
-jv tennis (10)
-varsity tennis (11-12)
-religious education teacher (9-12)
-tennis coach
-multiple volunteer services

I intend to major in mathematics and/or finance. I would like to know the chances of me getting into these schools and possible receiving a merit based scholarship. Also, if you recommend applying early decision or early action please let me know. Thank you!

Hi! I am also from New Jersey (and I also play tennis) and am looking at some of the same schools. Since I am only a student like you, I can’t give you perfect information, but I will tell you what I know.

First of all, I would cross Bucknell, Clemson, and UR off of your list. Bucknell and UR are very selective, so if you really want to make one of them happen, applying early decision is the only way to go. The truth about the admission at those schools is that your test scores are too low. I’m sure the schools would like your profile, but if you don’t raise your SAT/ACT scores, you won’t really have a chance.
Now, about Clemson. At first, I thought it was a safety school for me, but as I have learned more and more about the school, I now know that their OOS admission are getting crazy selective. I would say Clemson is easier than UR/Bucknell, but it is by no means easy.

I wish I could talk to you about your other schools, but I only REALLY know about those 3 schools because I’m applying ED to Bucknell, applying RD to Clemson, and just really liked UR, but I probably couldn’t get in.

Overall, if you want to make your reaches, you need to bump up your scores crazy hard.
But yeah I’m pretty much a nerd when it comes to college stuff, sorry if I sound like some informed adult.
