I applied to Chico state my senior year and I got a accepted . My plan was to go to community college first and then transfer to Chico but now I’ve changed my mind and I want to re apply to Chico . The problem is that I got a d my second semester of senior year in my ap environmental class. And I checked on the Chico website for admission requirements and is said that I need to graduate from highschool (which I did ) and pass the a-g class with a c or better (which I did ) because ap environmental would be considered an extra class that I took. I also have an sat score of 980 and a 3.0 GPA . But still I’m nervous about getting in this time
Each Cal State can determine if your D will be an issue. Some will be more lenient than others. AP environmental is an a-g course and regardless if you have met the minimum a-g course requirements, passing ALL a-g courses are important to be considered a viable applicant. I suggest you retake the course if possible since when you reapply, the D will be used in your CSU GPA calculation.
