As an in-state student, Georgia Tech is my top choice where I am applying early. Unfortunately, I won’t hear back until January 10, so I might be doing myself a disservice by not applying to other schools (which have a Jan 1 deadline).
So the big question is…can I sort of assume that I will get in or no?
Objective:
SAT I (breakdown): 2210 (R710,M800,W700) Single sitting (I took the SAT for the second time in October, waiting for results, hoping to break 2300?)

Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): 3.84
Weighted GPA: 4.6
Rank (percentile if rank is unavailable): Barely top 5% like 38/790
AP (place score in parenthesis): Stats (5). Bio (5). English (5). Chem (4), Physics C (3), Physics 1 (4) Calc BC (3). This year will take Gov and Econ and retake BC Calc test (though not the class).
(Should I submit the 3s…they are in STEM subjects?!?)

Job/Work Experience: Staff member at library (about 15 hours/week)
Summer Activities: Engineering Intern at local university
Essays: Common App essay is pretty good, supplement decent but not like wow
Teacher Recommendation: STEM teacher probably decent but not wow
Counselor Rec: Generic/Big School
Additional Rec: G.Tech doesn’t accept
Applied for Financial Aid?: Yes, but not expecting any b/c in-state isnt that expensive
Intended Major: Environmental Engineering (Business back up major)
State (if domestic applicant): Georgia
School Type: Public

Income Bracket: >$200k (not that it makes a difference)
Hooks (URM, first generation college, etc.): I don’t think so?
