Can I get into Highly Competitive schools? ECs? Classes strong enough?

As I said in a previous post, my wGPA freshman year at a private school was a 4.01 and uwGPA was 3.9. This year at a harder public school my wGPA is a 3.86 and uwGPA is a 3.67. Next year my classes are AP US History 2, Pre Calc H, English 3 AP, Physics AP, Computer Science H, Italian 3 CPE, and Digital Design 2. If I perform well enough in these classes, is it enough to get into Highly competitive schools such as USC, Boston College, Michigan, Vanderbilt… I also would appreciate if people left EC ideas in the comments as that is a weak area for me. However, I am running for VP of my class council for next year, so I am sure that will help.

Though you have a 3.67 UW GPA this year, that is definitely not the end of the world. If you do well enough in all you classes, meaning straight As, then you definitely have a good shot at getting into these schools. As for ECs, you should pursue ECs that directly relate to your area of interest. What do you want to study in college? Participate in activities that show colleges you have experience in that area. Good luck!
