Can i get into MIT?

Hi! I’m not exactly looking for a percentage or someone to say yes I will get in or no I won’t (that’s kind of what I asked in my previous posts and everyone gave me the good advice that there is a 4% acceptance rate so chance me can’t really work since nobody really know)**

So I have gotten 6bs, as I list below, and they are all in STEM classes. My gpa is still 3.88 uw and 4.4 weighted tho, so I was wondering what you guys thought on whether I would be competitive for MIT? I know MIT has really really high standards compared to some other top ranked schools with specific preference for calc (MIT lists taking calc on their website as key whereas Stanford, Harvard doesn’t) so I was wondering what you guys thought if I had a chance in terms of my gpa passing the preliminary stats check (like on MIT they say we look at gpa to see if you can handle the coursework; do you think I would pass?) and then also I plan to get my sat to at last 1580 and higher math score (right now i have 1540 so not too far off) and I’m applying RD. Let me know what you think!

also I should mention that I’ve done some really good research stuff and also I’m in the top 10% of my school and my rigor is pretty high (also I’ve gotten 5s in all APs except calc+stats (i got 4s)) so ik its not looking great b/c of my math…

Users can comment on the thread you started yesterday, which I updated to include MIT. The responses on that thread apply to MIT as well, although MIT is likely even more of a reach. Closing.
