Can i get into NYU and get some money?

<p>3.9ish GPA (weighted)
31 on ACT the second time - 28 in science, 28 in math, 34 in reading, 32 in english</p>

<p>29 on ACT the first time - 28 in science, 32 in math, 29 in reading, 26 in english</p>

<p>1890 on SAT - 660 on math, 610 on writing, 620 on reading
planning on taking it again</p>

<p>Student council representative my sophomore year, class secratary junior, and going to be president for my senior year
Member of multi-cultural club for 2 years and will be president of it next year, member of ecology club, amnesty international, tutoring club, SADD, and president of a mentoring program this year and next year and have been a member of it since freshmen year, member of National Honors Society</p>

<p>APs: ap us history, ap us government, ap comparative government, ap statstics, and next year i will be in: ap biology, ap spanish, ap calc ab, ap modern european history</p>

<p>have 150ish hours of volunteer work from mentoring programs, hunger shelters, and as a counselor</p>

<p>work experience:
worked at a resturaante and as a camp counselor</p>

<p>I am also a member of LINK, have attended my schools leadership conference, and have played on my schools varsity lacrosse team since freshmen year</p>

<p>I had a 35 ACT, similar GPA/work/volunteering/ECs, but only got 20,000 scholarship (which was not enough for me to afford NYU). That was the only aid they gave… i got no financial aid even though my EFC is like 1000 lol</p>

<p>NYU is renowned for poor financial aid.</p>

<p>NYU would rather put its money into real estate.</p>
